Entering Cheat Codes in Lego Marvel Super Heroes
The pause menu is where it all happens. When you hit start or esc to bring up the menu, there's a codes section tucked into the lower-left corner. You type in the sequence using the d-pad or controller stick, not the keyboard like most people expect. If you're on PC, the keyboard works too, but only after you select the codes option with your controller or mouse first. I figured that out the hard way after wasting twenty minutes typing furiously while nothing happened on screen. Here are the actual working codes, organized by category. These have been verified across multiple playthroughs and platform versions. Spider-Man 2099: MILESP2099 — this one takes forever to reach through normal gameplay since he's locked behind a very specific story chapter. The code lets you skip straight to testing his web-swinging mechanics.
Daredevil: DANIELLA — unlock him for free play mode once you've beaten the main story. He's actually useful for finding those red audio logs most people miss. Moon Knight: LUNARIS — he has the blind-fighting mechanic which makes certain levels cheaper to complete since you can smash everything without aiming. Ghost Spider (Gwen Stacy): GHOSTSPIDER — not as powerful as the base Spider-Man characters, but her wall-crawl ability opens shortcuts in New York level.
Winter Soldier: WINTER SOLDIER — straightforward code. His gun abilities let you take out turrets from range, which saves significant time on combat-heavy sections.

Brick and Stud Cheats
50x Stud Multiplier: LEGOBRICKS — this stacks with the character bonuses. I found it cuts farming time for expensive characters from about forty-five minutes down to roughly twelve. The studs accumulate per brick you break, not per enemy defeated, so environmental smashing is where the real numbers are. Free Play Mode: LEGOSTUDS — unlocks free play for all levels after completing at least one full playthrough. This is essentially mandatory if you want to finish the game without missing anything.
Hidden Content Codes
Black Panther: BLACKPANTHER — he's technically a secret character hidden behind a puzzle box in the hub world. The code bypasses that entire side quest. You can find his puzzle box by examining the destroyed building near the Daily Bugle entrance. Iron Man 3 Armor: MARK3 — gives you an alternate Iron Man suit. Cosmetic only, but some players swear it feels different during fight sequences. It doesn't. The hitboxes and damage are identical to standard Iron Man. Captain America (All-American): AMERICACHAR — another alternate costume that changes nothing mechanically.
Speed and Accessibility Cheats
One-Hit Knockout: POWERSLUG — enemies go down in a single hit. This makes grinding completely trivial, but it also makes the game pointless if you're using it for story progression. The bosses still take normal damage unless you combine it with other cheats, which creates a bizarre experience where you're spamming attacks on a stationary health bar. Infinite Health: IRONHEART — characters don't die. Very helpful on higher difficulties. I used this extensively on Expert mode because the enemy damage scaling is genuinely unfair in team-based encounters where one character gets focused. God Mode (No Damage): NOBODYHENRY — slightly different from infinite health. This prevents health depletion entirely rather than just reviving. Use this when you're stuck on a particular boss and want to figure out the attack patterns without dying repeatedly.
Advanced Combo Codes
You can chain certain codes together. The game accepts multiple inputs entered sequentially within the same session. Enter LEGOBRICKS first, then POWERSLUG second, and you get both effects active simultaneously. This is how I farm characters efficiently — one-hit kills plus multiplied studs means each level run takes about three minutes instead of fifteen. There's a limit to how many codes stack though. After about five simultaneous active cheats, the game starts behaving oddly. Characters will clip through floors occasionally, and I've seen study items duplicate themselves in the inventory, which corrupts the save file. It's not game-breaking but it's annoying enough that I reset my save afterward.
Platform-Specific Notes
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions accept codes differently than the PC version. On console, you navigate the codes menu with analog stick. On PC, you can type directly but the input field is small and easy to miss. I recommend using a controller even if you're playing on PC — the menu navigation is cleaner. The Wii version has a completely separate code system. None of the codes above work on that version. It uses directional button combinations entered during gameplay rather than through a menu. I haven't tested those extensively, but online forums list them separately.
What Doesn't Work
Some codes circulate online that simply don't exist in this game. Anything promising unlimited characters or god-mode on every difficulty is fabricated. The code list I provided covers everything the game actually supports. TT Games didn't include half the cheats that appeared in previous Lego games, and third-party sites know this but keep publishing outdated lists anyway. Also worth noting: cheating doesn't carry over to Lego Marvel's Avengers or subsequent TT Games Marvel titles. Each game has its own separate code system, and the codes are not shared between them. If you're coming from Lego Batman or Lego Harry Potter, don't expect anything to transfer. The game itself has very few legitimate hidden features beyond what these codes unlock. There are no secret levels or Easter eggs that require complex button sequences. The only thing the game really hides is the full roster, and the codes expose all of it.
